{Chicago Wedding Photographer}:: Gabel + Chaqeeta = 2 people who took 10 years to find one another…

It was only 10 years ago that all of us used to hang out at the local coffee shop, play guitar, go swimming, spend our days at Acquire the Fire or spend a weekend in Dallas shopping (even though we were all broke interns).  Though we have all struggled to keep in touch some how or another we somehow have managed.  Everyone knows how fun life’s harsh little lessons, I mean “experiences” can grow and change us into the productive adult that all of our daunting parents hoped we would be one day.  I have had the pleasure of watching the two individuals mature into some pretty amazing people.  Both of them have always managed to stay in my life throughout the past 10 years, Gabel (Jonathan) and Cheeks (Chaqeeta).

One summer a little over a year ago these two decided it had been way to long since their last meeting.  Cheeks decided to take a trip up to Chicago for “the week.”  Let’s just say Georgia was left high and dry, because these two beautiful people soon realized (after 10 longgggg years) that they were totally and completely IN LOVE! Soon after, perhaps 6 months or so they were engaged and this past weekend on April 28th, 2012 they became Husband and Wife:) Though I miss my friend being close to me, I am even more glad to see the joy, passion, and love that God has shown these two for one another.  It is a blessing to see you both so in love!

So of course, Chaqeeta told me that she wanted me to actually enjoy a wedding for once and not work:)…but she knows me all to well…here are a few of the moments captured this past weekend.  April 28th, 2012. Congratulations to two of the most amazing people that I’ve ever had in my life, I love you both!

Thank you for your continuing support and interest in R.A.G.artistry!

I’ve known this lovely bride since she was a young girl <3 What a sweet, lovely and wonderful woman she grew to be! I'm thankful she will have these images you captured of her wedding day. You're beyond talented!
